Interview Information

• Interviews for alpha testers are scheduled to take place by arrangement between the vetting developers and the alpha tester candidate.
• Please could you not private message developers asking to be a tester, post your interest in this thread and we will contact you.

Alpha Tester Requirements:

• Tester Availability Requirements
  • BF40K Multiplayer Alpha Tests are conducted:
    • Test schedules are subject to change.
    • BF40K-BF2........Saturday..18:00..UK..London Time (GMT 0)
    • BF40K-BF2142..Sunday....18:00..UK..London Time (GMT 0)
  • If approved as an Alpha tester you must have a 70% attendance rate to tests.
  • You are required to have only one version of battlefield if you have both even better

• Person Requirements
  • You must have been a member of the forums for 1+ months.
  • Knowledge of the Warhammer 40,000 & Forgeworld rules for Imperial Guard and Tau is essential.
  • It is preferred you have Game testing experience. (Please provide an actual example of a bug you have solved and how it has influenced the development of the game in your post)
  • Testing may be fun, but what is vital is your ability to spot and report faults then inform the relevant developer(s):
    • Visual Artists (Modellers, UVmappers, Texture Artists and Animators)
    • Sound and music designers
    • Coders/scripters
    • Mappers
  • Good English spelling, punctuation and grammer.
  • Desired: Interpret in one or more foreign languages.

• Contact requirements
  • You must to have either Xfire and/or MSN messenger client(s)
  • You must have Teamspeak (microphone required)
  • If you do not include those details, either in your post or your profile we will not interview you.

• The following will result in the loss of alpha test privileges:
  • Non attendance (see above)
  • Non reporting of alpha test bugs after tests (at least once a week).

• How do I apply to become an Alpha tester?
  • Post a responce in this thread registering your interest.
  • Post an example of a bug you helped resolve, and how it influenced the development of the game.
  • If this is your first time applying as a tester, do not fear just state an example of method you might use to help spot errors.

I would like to join the bf2 testing team. I have both teamspeak and msn. My mic is not working at the moment, but that can be fixed easily.

I am quite willing to test. I have TS2, Xfire, and both BF2 and BF2142, I will have to reinstall them though. I have a knack for detail and am ready to voice concerns. My Xfire is commissaryarrick85 and my TS2 guest name is Commissar Yarrick. Have a starting guard army but have been in with WH 40K for several years. I'm in.
