BF40K Needs a new dev team to complete.
The battlefield 40k mod has generally not been in development since November last year.
The last thing made for the mod was a Squad Leader skin for the Tau Firewarrior last month and the XV25 Stealth. BF40K: BF2 ceased development in July 09 when our developers PC broke down leaving us with no coder remaining on that version. BF40K: BF2142 ceased development in around November 09 due to other personal commitments for our only 2142 coder. Essentially we need a whole new mod team in order to carry on and complete. Sadly, we have enough artistic assets (models & sound effects) to make a basic Imperial Guard vs Tau infantry only release. With no coders left in the team we cannot continue. If we had more artists we could finish off the vehicles and add custom Squad leader and commander models and include those. We still have a number of alpha builds that could be fixed to a playable state to make the mod go out. |

There is an update, Adam is back and we have one new artist who is currently working on the hammerhead/devilfish.

Are there any vanilla statics (Bf2 or BF2142) that can be used for mapping ?
Could try to start some industrial harbour/spaceport map... |
For the 2142 edition your going to have to use the 2142 statics.
You have to at all costs NEVER USE ones that contain IN GAME ADVERTISING. |
