DO NOT
  1. ASK QUESTIONS that have ALREADY BEEN ANSWERED in the FAQS SECTION or FORUM THREADS.
    Use a search to find if it has been answered already. Any threads that are created and found to have had their questions answered already will result in them being deleted.

  2. WRITE THREADS OR POSTS IN ILLITERATE ENGLISH! Please write in fully comprehensive English.

    For example "Wat do u plan 2 put in da mod?"
    The correct way of writing that would be "What do you plan to put into the mod?".

    Please check your message for spelling, punctuation and grammatical mistakes before posting it if you spot the mistakes later edit it. If you have a word processor with spelling, grammer and punctuation correction features write the post out in that first then copy and paste it into your message.
    We do allow for some bad spelling grammar and punctuation for those visitors that do not have English as a first language or those who are dyslexic or have other learning disabilities.

    If English is your first language, illiterate posting is INEXCUSIBLE and WILL NOT BE TOLERATED, violating this may result in temporary bans or your posts being deleted.
    We are a forum so take the time to write your posts out carefully.
    WE ARE NOT an AOL Chat room or mobile phone texting service.

  3. THREAD HIJACK. Start another thread if you have a different topic.

  4. BOMB the forums with commercial advertising, pointless or identical threads and/or posts.
    If identical threads or posts are made by mistake inform a moderator if you can not delete it so they can do it on your behalf.

    Commercial Advertising is disallowed because

    You cannot "Use our intellectual property in relation to any third party products or third party intellectual property."

    "The game or mod must be strictly non-commercial – this includes any web site that the mod or game is hosted on. You also cannot pay a printing company to publilsh copies of it onto CD. It may also mean that you cannot get sponsorship."


  5. IMPERSONATE other individuals (ESPECIALLY OFFICIALS) or falsely represent yourself.

  6. FLAME, NAME CALL OR MAKE PERSONAL ATTACKS. Mutual respect and civilized conversation is the required norm.

  7. USE LARGE SIGNATURES. Keep them within a reasonable size that does not require much space.

  8. Post MATERIAL where you do not have permission to distribute it electronically or otherwise.
    This includes posting images directly from a website (Bandwidth Theft). Images are to be hosted personally or by a third party host.
    You may however post a hyperlink reference to the place where the image is stored.

  9. Discuss, suggest, engage, or encourage any ILLEGAL ACTIVITIES. Links provided to locations that deal with any such activity are also expressly forbidden.

  10. POST OFFENSIVE MATERIAL or WEB LINKS, Rest assured do it once its a one month ban - do it again and its a permanent.

  11. DISRESPECT forum MODERATORS and ADMINISTRATORS you are bound to follow their directions and instructions.
Breaking any of the above listed forum rules can result in the loss of posting privileges and possible loss of your forum account. Battlefield 40K also reserves the right to ban any user, at any time, and for any reason.

The following disciplinary action can be taken against forum abusers:
  • A warning
  • Bans
    • 1 Day
    • 1 Week
    • 2 Weeks
    • 1 Month
    • Permanent
