1. Mod Installation instructions win32 client only

1.1)Download and install winrar
1.2)Download the mod from one of the following: Planet Battlefield - ampedDX - FileFront - moddb (the patch is on this site too with installation instructions for the patch included)
1.3)"Extract" the installation file using winrar anywhere then run it.
1.4)Let the installation wizard do the rest.
1.5)Then you need to "Copy", "Paste" an existing battlefield shortcut on the desktop and "Rename" it to bf40k.
1.6)Right click on the bf40k icon and go to "Properties".
1.7)Left Click on the shortcut tab
1.8)"Copy" everything in purple: "C:\Program Files\EA GAMES\Battlefield 1942\BF1942.exe" +game BF40k , and "Paste" to "Target" then press "Apply" then "Ok"
1.9)Finished, Your all set to play the game Unless you have either or both of issues 2 and 3 below

2. Those with Punkbuster issues

Those who find they keep getting booted from servers and get strange error messages do the following:

2.1)Right click on this link: pbsec.htm then "save target as" and save to path: c:\program files\ea games\battlefield1942\pb\
2.2)As step 2.1's path but with this file: pbsecsv.htm
2.3)As step 2.1's path but with this file: pbsvnew.dll , it is Ok to overwrite this file
2.4)Save this file wc001179.htm to a new path: c:\program files\ea games\battlefield1942\pb\htm\ (if the file asks to be overwritten do not download).
2.5)As Step 2.4's path but with this file wa001331.htm

3. Battlefield 1942 download updates
Some have complained they don't have the latest versions of battlefield heres where to find them:

3.1)Download and install Battlefield1942 Client Patch 1.6
3.2)Download and install Battlefield1942 Client Incremental patch v1.6 to v1.61b
3.3)Finished!

Finally the mod team would like to add Do not run! single player or co-op modes they are bugged and cause a crash to desktop at the moment.

We would also like some feedback from the Apple mac community on how to make the mod work for that O/S too as we remember someone posting in our old forums requesting us to support it.
